Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to information when you visit www.nflsurgical.com. It covers this website only. It does not cover treatment records, patient portals, or anything you discuss with a clinician — those are handled under the practice's separate patient privacy notice.
The short version
This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, advertising pixels, or session-recording software. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell or rent personal information. Optional content from other companies is switched off until you choose to turn it on.
Information collected automatically
The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services. Like virtually every web server, it records basic technical information when a page is requested: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser type. These records exist for security and to keep the site running, they are not used to identify individual visitors, and they are not combined with anything else.
The website itself sets no cookies of its own for tracking purposes.
Optional content from other companies
Some parts of the site are supplied by other companies. Because loading their content would let them see your IP address and set their own cookies, none of it loads unless you allow it. When you first visit, you are asked to choose. Until you accept, no request is made to any of these companies.
- Patient reviews (Elfsight and Google). Review widgets on the home, weight loss and team pages are supplied by Elfsight, which draws the reviews from Google. Turning these on allows Elfsight and Google to receive your IP address and set cookies.
- Facebook video (Meta). A video on the home page is hosted by Facebook. Turning it on allows Meta to receive your IP address and set cookies, and Meta may associate that with your Facebook account if you have one.
You can change your mind at any time using the privacy choices link, which is also in the footer of every page. Your choice is remembered in your own browser's local storage; it is not sent to us or to anyone else. Clearing your browser data resets it, and you will be asked again.
Maps on the Find Us page are static images stored on our own server, so viewing them does not contact any mapping provider. If you click a map to get directions, you leave this site and Google's own privacy policy applies from that point.
Subscribing to updates
If you use the subscribe form, we collect the email address you enter and any topics you tick, such as weight loss, vein treatment or breast cancer. Ticking a topic tells us you are interested in that subject, so we ask you to confirm explicitly before you submit the form.
We use this only to send you updates about the topics you chose. This information is stored in Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.), an email marketing service based in the United States, and is not sold or shared for anyone else's marketing. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time using the contact information below.
Please do not include medical details, symptoms, or other health information in the subscribe form. It is not a secure channel and it is not part of your medical record.
Contacting us
If you email or call the practice, we receive whatever you choose to tell us and use it to respond to you. Ordinary email is not a secure way to send health information, so please use it only to arrange contact, not to describe a medical condition.
Children
This website is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children through this site.

- Decline or withdraw consent for third-party content at any time via the privacy choices link.
- Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email we send.
- Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, using the contact details below.
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and site data entirely.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, the privacy choices prompt will appear again.
